Dispute Resolution Protocol Updated to Version 3.0

Dispute Resolution Protocol Updated to Version 3.0

Torzon Market's dispute resolution system received a major update in August 2025, introducing what platform communications referred to as version 3.0 of the arbitration protocol. The changes address limitations identified through analysis of dispute patterns over the previous six months.

Reduced Resolution Timelines

The maximum target resolution time was reduced from 96 hours to 72 hours for standard cases. Complex cases involving high-value transactions or detailed evidence chains retain a 96-hour window, but the clear majority of disputes now have a shorter resolution target. Community researchers noted this reflects an improvement in moderator staffing ratios.

Structured Evidence Templates

A standardised evidence submission form was introduced, replacing the previous free-form dispute description. The template requires buyers and vendors to separately document: the agreed terms, evidence of payment, evidence of shipping or delivery, and a specific statement of the contested claim. This structure reduces back-and-forth clarification rounds and provides moderators with a consistent information set from which to adjudicate.

Auto-Resolution Changes

The auto-resolution trigger was updated. Cases with no vendor response within 48 hours of dispute opening now auto-resolve in the buyer's favour without requiring moderator review. This closes a tactic where unresponsive vendors could delay resolution indefinitely.
